Carnegie Halls Jig Set

Carnegie Halls – Just played once, no repeat of full piece. Everyone playing.

Dads Landrover – A part just accordions and guitar, on the repeat of the A part the flutes join in. Everyone joins in for the B part and full repeat of song except harps.

Ben Wyvis Jig – This piece is played twice through. The second time through the A part, chord players drone an A, on the repeat of the A part they go back to playing the normal chords.

Pressed for time.

Starts with pipes playing tune and everyone else doing stabs of the chord notes, cellos drone A on some parts. Everyone comes in on B part with possibility of pipe band drums joining in too.

Full set altogether (a rough recording! but gives an idea of speed) any ideas you come up with for the other tunes will be welcomed.

Passing Places set (recording will be up shortly)

Passing places – A part just strings, A part repeat flutes join in. B part everyone else joins in.

Try to come up with some ideas for the other 3 tunes and we’ll give these a go after the holidays.
